California Protea Association Activities

On behalf of the International Protea Association, the International Protea Working Group & the South African Protea Producers & Exporters Association, we have the pleasure of inviting you to South Africa to participate in this meeting to be held from 3 – 6 September 2008, in Stellenbosch.

The IPA 2008 conference aims once again to bring together growers, researchers, marketers and protea enthusiasts from around the globe. The conference together with the IPWG scientific symposium will be held in Stellenbosch, right in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom, home to more than 330 species of Proteaceae in 14 genera. The scientific symposium, showcasing the latest research, and the grower program will focus on global competitiveness. This conference is your opportunity to get to grips with the latest information, build your network and benchmark your own business to ensure your global competitiveness. A pre-conference tour will visit production farms and packhouses in different climatic areas of the Western Cape giving the international visitor an overview of our uniquely South African protea industry. The conference is being organized under the auspices of the South African Protea Producers and Exporters Association. The organizing committee looks forward to welcoming you to our fairest Cape.
